Farther afield
The world, between commissions.
Laura Rossi is a Toronto photographer, but the camera travels: Iceland's black-sand coast, Portugal's tiled squares, Andalusian plazas, Roman sunsets. These are travel photographs made the same way as her city work, waited out until the light earned the frame.
She takes destination commissions: travel editorial, hotels and tourism work. Spain keeps pulling her back, and Valencia is next on the list.

Iceland
The south coast in shoulder season: a waterfall you hear before you see, and a fuselage that has been rusting into the black sand since 1973, photographed under the stars.

Portugal
Lisbon's grand riverfront square and, up in the Sintra hills, a palace painted like nowhere else in Europe.

Spain
Seville's Plaza de España in first light. Spain is the country Laura returns to most, and Valencia is the next chapter.

England and Singapore
A palace through a fence and supertrees after dark: two cities that could not be less alike, shot with the same patience.

Italy
Rome doing the thing Rome does at sunset.

Good to know
Does Laura take destination commissions?
Yes: travel editorial, hotels and tourism work. Send the destination, the dates and what the images need to do, and you'll get a proposal back with an honest read on the season and the light.
Are prints of the travel work available?
Most frames on this page are available as archival prints. Email laura@sp-ce.co with the image and rough size and you'll get options and pricing. The Iceland and Seville frames are the most requested.
Where next?
Valencia. Spain keeps pulling Laura back, and the next chapter of the travel archive is already planned. If you have a commission that fits the route, or anywhere else, timing can often line up.
