FAQ

What is a personal branding session?

It is a photo session built around one person and how they work, rather than a single headshot. You get portraits plus frames of the work itself: the desk, the studio, the client meeting, the walk between them. Most people use them across a website, LinkedIn, a press kit and months of posts.

What should I wear?

Bring two or three outfits you already own and feel like yourself in, ideally at different levels of formality. Solid colours and simple textures hold up better than busy patterns. If a particular photo has a job to do, a website header or a conference bio, say so and Laura will plan an outfit around it.

How much does it cost?

Quotes are flat and project-based rather than hourly, because session length, locations and how widely the images will be used all move the number. Send what you need the photos for to hello@laurarossi.ca and you'll get a firm quote, usually the same day.

I hate being photographed. Will this work?

That is most people, and the session is built for it. Direction is specific and physical, you are usually doing something rather than posing, and shooting happens in short bursts with breaks. Ten relaxed minutes produce more usable frames than an hour of standing still.

Where do the sessions happen?

Wherever the work looks like itself: your office or studio, a rented space, a café, or outdoors around the city. Laura shoots across Toronto and the west end, and will scout a location before the day if you don't have one in mind.
